Joomlatools Blog: SITEman goes Google Documents!

This is looking nice, I can't wait for a final release. The XML-RPC features are going to come in handy. I've recently been using external blog editors to edit and create articles on my Joomla sites, and at some times it's a lot faster... Especially on the go or in unfamiliar territory.

The prospect of SITEman is very exciting. I look forward to seeing future developments.

Wasn't this part of Google Sumer of Code 2006? Boys, its been two years now. Is it ever going to get release?

Besides, I don't see the point of using SITEman with Google Docs, its suppose to be my Joomla Desktop Editor. You can make these plug-ins once SITEman is released or people can develop it themselves. Don't take this negatively but you really need to focus.

J!Explorer was part of Google Summer of Code 2006. Since J!Explorer has been renamed to SITEman, a lot has changed. The J!Explorer build part of Google Summer of Code 2006 is still on the Joomlacode SVN to download.

I created SITEman for Google Docs for my thesis at university. Since I created it anyway, I've put it on the blog to show what's going on in SITEman-land. By creating these cases, I'm more focused than ever to create a rockstable content editor.

    Thanks,
    Laurens

I'm still looking for a way to update my Joomla site from my Maemo device (Nokia n800) on the road. What gui toolkit is Siteman built with and how hard would it be to get it run on Maemo?
